This is a collaboration project for professionals interested in serving small and midsize manufacturing companies and conglomerates that work with such suppliers. The group will strategize and work together to design and sell solutions to help companies take advantage of a post Covid trend to move manufacturing from China to local markets.
We believe companies that manufacture locally will benefit from an accelerating demand from governments and large companies across the US and western markets to source products from local suppliers. There will be a need to help smaller companies identify excess local manufacturing capacity and for the establishment of contract manufacturing in the US and western markets that may even be partly funded by governments and conglomerates. There may also be a need to combine existing manufacturers to help them survive the slow recovery from the crisis.
Beyond sharing expertise, this group is for operating executives, finance, strategy and supply chain professionals who can leverage each other's network and relationships to identify advisory opportunities and start the conversations with all stakeholders - large conglomerates that need help to diversify their suppliers or help their suppliers establish locally, smaller companies that need help accessing capacity and expertise, as well as government agencies interested in strengthening local supply chains.
Please request to connect with this project if you are interested to explore and join this group.
