4. Who gets approved to list Clewed Insights?
- Anyone with deep expertise in their field such as: subject matter experts, investors, researchers, or operators. Qualification is based on a series of screens related to depth of relevant experience and verifiable background. Once approved, we incorporate user rating and feedback to consistently improve quality and disqualify those not meeting our high rating standards.
5. What types of topics do Clewed Insights cover?
- Topics include industry trends, regulatory and business model changes, competitive dynamics, product launch and market entry strategies, and other similar actionable industry and operating ideas. We focus on topics that help business people make informed decisions and incorporate feedback and topic ideas from our users.
6. How do you control quality?
- Each Insight and expert is vetted and approved by Clewed and rated by users. An expert’s profile on Clewed highlights measurable past performance, academic and professional training, and research background. Companies are profiled with useful information for participants to know the business and tailor discussions properly.
7. How do you deal with privacy?
- Company participants are profiled anonymously. Professionals can choose to be identified by first or full name and their background. Our profiling process enables our participants to have quality experience that is tailored to their needs while maintaining their privacy. For advisory work, we follow standard confidentiality and conflict screening protocols and connection based permission settings.
8. What do I get paid for my Insights?
- You set the price for the Insights you share on our platform. You earn 100% of the revenue, less processing and moderator fees (if applicable) for the audience you invite to your Insight session. You earn 50% of the revenue, less processing and moderator fees for the audience Clewed brings to your Insight session. Clewed pays you hourly rates for your participation in private advisory teams.
9. How do I get an audience for my Insight?
- After your Clewed Insight is published, you can share your unique Insight url with your colleagues, professional contacts, friends, and family. We give you tools to share your topic in social media while distributing your Insight to our community.
10. How is my company information used?
- When you register, your company is assigned a unique project name that serves as your identification on Clewed. Your company profile is anonymous but provides useful information that helps to attract the right people to your business. All other information about your company is only accessible to your Clewed Analyst and professionals privately connected to you based on your service level and strict permission-based settings. Your business information is protected by confidentiality, privacy, and terms of use agreements.
- While we take the highest privacy measures and regularly search for and replace sensitive words in your account, you are responsible for never listing your company name or other sensitive data, outside of our initial registration form.
11. Does Clewed help me implement improvements?
- Yes, our Clewed Advisory product is designed to help companies privately implement improvements and relevant Insights. You can also request a professional to help you and your team implement Insights privately.

- Currently, we are focused on our core Insight and Advisory products. Over the long term, we seek to invest in companies we serve.
